1. BILLET CRANKS
Billet cranks are machined from a solid bar of E4340AQ alloy steel and are unsurpassed for strength and rigidity. They have standard size radiused journals, are balanced, and can be furnished in non-standard strokes if desired. We have patterns for the more common makes of engines but if we do not have one for your engine, you will have to send an old crankshaft to us to use as a pattern. Delivery time is approx 3-months, and no, that can't be speeded up. Prices are as follows:

2. PAECOLLOY CRANKS
If the billet cranks are outside the budget, then you may want to go with a PAECOLLOY crank. These are stock crankshafts, usually the one that you send to us, that are built back up to standard size with a hard nickel-chrome alloy. The result is a crank with very hard journals that can withstand the rigors of a high compression, high revving engine. If you have been using an undersized crank, building it back up to standard will add quite a bit to the strength of the crankshaft, in addition to the hard journal surface. The following prices are for performing this treatment on your crankshaft. We do have a limited stock of cores if you need one: The cranks are balanced and glasspeened before shipping.
